Got a little bit of work done last night before dark. This is a little section of roof next to the loft.






Below is a photo from standing on our house. Hard to tell but the roof is actually sloped about 4". 


Below is the final illustration of the exterior color scheme. The green sections actually sit above the sheathing about a 1/2 inch. I think it's called a "rain wall". The idea is that the wall breaths.

My daughter lives down the street from you and stopped by with the kids and talked to you. She had sent me a pic of your project because I mentioned that in preparation for moving to Broomfield/Boulder in August, that I wanted to build a tiny house. SHe said oh, like this one... and sent me pics from her phone. So glad your blogging about it. I can't believe you are doing this plus working full time and expecting a baby, AND volunteering in MEXICO. What are you SUPERMAN??? I wish!!! Reading about the title process was a caviat. Folks like you who blog about the details, really help to forge the way. THank you Sooooo much.
